Genesis 2:19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.
God is curious! And he delights in his creatures! "He brought them to the man to see what he would name them"! And God takes pleasure in the work of his creature, giving to him what he wishes "whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name."

So we're the crazies that came up with Aardvark. Cool. But really, it's incredible how much he actually loves us. Blows my mind, most of the time.

ReplyDeleteYea, no kidding. God showed me some stuff at IVLI and I am still reeling from them. I think I always will be. Completely and totally mind-blowing. Yea, Jesus died for our messed up world--but guess what! WE were the ones who messed it up! It's not like the world was just messed up. We made it that way, and he still loved us enough to come to earth and die on a cross for all the crap we did to his earth and his people. And Jesus wasn't just some innocent man being wrongly executed, he was GOD. Mind. Blown.
